An exclusive profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams

The film is the result of several interviews that director Michael Gracey recorded with Robbie Williams over a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles, USA. Although the interviews were not originally intended for the film, as Gracey “just wanted to capture [Williams] in his own voice telling his story,” most of Williams’ voice acting in the film comes from those recordings.

There was so much real emotion in the film

I was initially skeptical about Robbie playing a monkey, but within the first five minutes I forgot about it. It was an amazing roller coaster ride, and I’m still in awe of it days later.

The good and the bad

I can’t wait to watch it many more times. So much respect for the different characters Robbie has dealt with, very brave and humble to include that.

Well done to him

I really liked his complete honesty and the fact that he included mental health struggles and didn’t shy away from them. He truly is the best entertainment!
