Scenario
Media maven Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after stumbling upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first leading television role. I enjoyed the start of the series but I think the ending was bad. a little flat for me. The series attempted to wrap up the stories in a more positive way but struggled to find a solid ending. There are episodes that could have been cut. I found it a chore to watch episodes 6 and 7. I enjoyed the message, especially living in this extremely polarized climate. I would love a second season if they could improve the writing and plotting, but if it really is just a limited series then I think they failed and that’s why I gave it a 7. It left me wanting more but I’m not sure if that’s because this season deserves another season or because I feel bad for them and want to give them a second chance.
